*   Chinese church missionary status and Solutions:

A.   Mission status quo

□ There are many churches have not opened up the window for missionary

      ministries.

□  ‘Missionary’ remains in slogan, no actual action has been taken.

□ There were many young missionaries served for 1 or 2 years on sites, but

      returned because of unacceptability to the severe environment.

□ The vision of missions and character of missionaries have not been verified

      before they were sent off as missionaries.

□ Without cross-cultural missionary training, the graduates are confronting

      inevitable cultural shock and resulted in frustration and failure.

□ The support from the organized missionary churches were insufficient.

□  The administration and care for the missionaries were inadequate, failed

      missionaries return to their origin unavoidably.

□ Urgent calling for unity (cross organizations, churches and nations).

B.  Solutions

□ □ Chinese churches today are in urgent need of influential models of overseas missionary training, overseas evangelistic missionaries and churches, and missionary groups and missionaries caring groups, and requiring more joint ministry and the viable missionaries Sabbath-years mode.

□ □ Urgent need of actual missionary mobilization at home and abroad. (Mission Conference, short-term missionary trip...)

□ □ It is advisable to include The Service as Missionary in the curriculum for domestic seminary.

□ □ Church leaders need to visit the site (seeing is believing) through short-term missionary.

□ □ missionaries require a system of welfare which is connected with the world mission agencies.

□ □ With the experience of long-term mission, overseas churches should serve the churches in China with humble heart, share the cases of failure openly in order to avoid the reoccurrence of the similar mistake.

 The missionary ministry in China should be mobilized by adopting the Gospel in the way of Chinese understanding and culture, and increasing the resources for missionaries. Through appropriate training which enable churches in China got connection with international missionary organizations and their guidance. The arrangement of the Sabbath-year to restore the passion of the missionaries and education for their children are both important, because the next generations are to be prepared for another ministries.  During Sabbath Year, missionaries in China should be able to develop an effective and practical missionary mobilization campaigns, on the foundation of practical experience and the word of God, the Chinese missionaries cultivate Chinese vision professional missionaries to bring impact to the churches and mission agencies.

Recalling the past decade of missionary career, it can be concluded that the mission is God’s work ..... caught by the mighty hand of God on churches and missionaries!

In the end times, God will use the churches in China for His special purpose. Therefore, we require to be equipped in a specific missionary system.

Whenever I visualize the scene of churches in China spreading the gospel throughout the world in the near future, my heart is surfing over the tide of difficulties and in unity with the Lord.  As life has its value and order in the Lord, it is worthy to pay our lives and to live significantly every single day.
